Thank you & Update: District of Squamish Oceanfront Land Use Plan

Thanks to all of you who have shared your feedback on ideas for the District’s new conceptual land use plans for the Squamish Oceanfront Peninsula. Interest and momentum is building! Over 140 people submitted their thoughts and ideas at the March 26 Public Event and here online – and over 750 people have visited this site in the past 3 weeks. Next Steps

The Planning Team will use community comments and ratings, along with financial and technical considerations, to guide development of a final draft plan. This draft will be presented for review and discussion, before it is finalized and presented to Council for adoption as an addendum to the Official Community Plan.
