Oceanfront residents and visitors, will create a sense of safety and vibrant activity on the waterfront (“eyes on the street”) and additional customers for both oceanfront and downtown shops and services and transit. Housing areas
The north end of the peninsula along the Mamquam Blind Channel would feature an urban waterfront neighbourhood (yellow). The west side of the peninsula would allow for either housing or employment (orange).
